My Projects

Project Thathera

Project Thathera is a design-led initiative to revive Amritsar’s traditional brass and copper craftsmanship. I collaborated with local Thathera artisans to create modern product collections while redesigning their workspaces for greater safety and efficiency. We also helped each artisan develop a personal brand identity that highlights their unique skills and story. Through this work, we aimed to celebrate and sustain an important cultural heritage.

Key Goals

Approach

Project Bayou

In Project Bayou, my team and I designed a floating contraption made from recycled materials to help clean up a local polluted waterbody. We engineered simple, sustainable mechanisms to collect waste from the water’s surface. The project also focused on community engagement, raising awareness about environmental issues and encouraging local participation in sustainable solutions.

Key Goals

Approach

Project Taal

Project Taal is a program I founded to bring dance education to children in underserved, remote schools. We organize creative dance workshops for students who may have limited access to the arts—particularly those who have lost a parent or come from low-income backgrounds. By teaching movement, rhythm, and dance performance, the goal is to build confidence, joy, and self-expression in these children. The program emphasizes inclusion and empowerment through the arts.

Key Goals

Approach

Project FeelEd

Project FeelEd focuses on creating tactile learning aids for visually impaired students by upcycling old board games and everyday materials. I designed and built educational tools that make lessons more inclusive and hands-on. By turning discarded objects into tactile models and textures, the goal is to help blind students touch and feel concepts (for example, math or reading materials) through rich sensory experiences.
