Activities

Dance

I’ve been dancing since I was three, starting with summer camp classes and eventually performing in stage shows. I’m trained in classical, contemporary, and hip-hop styles, and each has taught me something different about movement and discipline. Dance remains a steady part of my life and a joyful outlet for self-expression and creativity.

Music

Music has also been a major part of my life. I’ve trained in Hindustani classical vocals and have been playing keyboard and guitar for over five years. Performing on stage with other musicians has taught me teamwork, patience, and the joy of creating something that connects people. Music inspires me every day and fuels many of my creative ideas.

Sports

I’ve been an active sportsperson throughout my school years. I played badminton for four years (earning a silver medal at the national level) and table tennis for three years (winning a state-level gold medal). Sports have taught me focus, discipline, and how to stay composed under pressure while working with a team. These lessons help me in all areas of my life.

Theatre

Theatre has been another creative outlet for me. I performed in a stage play at Punjab Naatshala, one of the most renowned theatres in my city. I have also written and directed short plays for school events. Theatre helped me become more confident and expressive, and it showed me the power of storytelling to connect with an audience and create impact.

Art

Art has always been a deep passion of mine. Every summer, I organize visual art workshops at the Indian Academy of Fine Arts, bringing together artists and children from across the region. These workshops create a creative space for young students to explore and experiment through drawing, painting, and other visual media. I find it incredibly rewarding to mentor young artists and to see creativity flourish in those workshops.

Leadership

In leadership roles, I focus on innovation and collaboration. As “Captain Creativity” at Invictus International School, I led initiatives like founding the school’s first design magazine and integrating a Design & Technology curriculum. I also directed creative campaigns for major events such as the Diwali Exhibition and the annual Youth Entrepreneurship Year (YEY) conference. These experiences helped me develop strong organizational and teamwork skills, reflecting my passion for bringing creative ideas to life.
